Happy life

Do you want to have happy life? You can do it if you want. Let's look at Teo Eng Tiong, 39-year-old, who is an executive reporter and also a blogger just like you and me. He just won the award in the recent Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon Facebook contest.
He always find time to participate marathons, he has completed 35 marathons so far. He has run races in the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan.
The interesting part is that he stops regularly en route to snap pictures of participants. He completed his sixth Singapore marathon recently, once again armed with camera and two lenses.
Let's hear what Teo said:" It's something I enjoy doing. Lots of people love the photos because they can get them free of charge from my blog, it also motivates them to finish the race so they can share the pictures with their friends and family."
In conclusion, we can make ourselves happy just like Mr.Teo, do something good. You can have this kind of simple yet happy life.
The story also motivate me further. I will upgrade my hand phone and take some photos and video. Do you know what is my next move?

Take action

During the Asia Internet Congress, the seven speakers shared with us their success stories.
What I had learned is that money wouldn't fall from sky, it ready need hard work and taking immediate action.
With relevant knowledge, we then can execute it. I saw so many people signed up the follow-up courses.I believe these type of Internet marketing courses are ready beneficial.
Actually before the congress, I had already a free member of one particular web site and now I have decided to sign up to be full member. I have just successfully set up my pay pal account.
I am so excited to learn the new things. I will share with you in my next post.

Asia internet congress

Recently I was ready no time to visit other bloggers' blog site due to some personal commitment.
These few days I am attending the Asia Internet congress from 05-12-2008 to 07-12-2008.
Wow, I can tell you that I have learned so many things. I have to digest it and put it to action.
Those Internet gurus are ready good speakers. They have shared with us their success stories. This is exciting and fun, I ready enjoy it.
The key point is passion, do not give up.

New challenge

My friend told me that she had participated the programme--reading e-mail and get credit [ money ]. I was wondering whether is it true. Then, She told me that it was 100% true because her friend had already collected the cheque.

White tiger never love me, they bite me to death

Last week, there was an accident at Singapore zoo. The worker who worked in the zoo was bite by white tigers to death.

During lunch time, he never took the meal, he carried spoon and a pail. At first he went to see crocodiles, after that he crossed over to white tiger territory. He crossed over the small river and moved towards three white tigers.

My friend, let me imagine how he felt and white tigers' reaction.

Tiger A:" Wow, you see a man comes to visit us, let's give him a big hug."

Tiger B:" Yes, I never see him before, he looks young about 32 years old, he surely will give us a free gift[ his body]."

Tiger C:" That's good, I will use my paws and teeth to hug him."

Tiger A;" He finally comes, let's keep him, do not let go this special free gift."

Tigers never let go the free gift, they played joyfully.

Worker:" I made a wrong decision, white tigers never love me, they bite my neck, I feel so pain now. Can I change my mind?."

I finished my imagination.

White tigers finally ended his chapter.

This was a sad accident, please ask for help from human, not white tiger.

Empower you

I have just successfully completed the three days course. I feel very joyful that I had learned many things, the most exciting is that I can share what I had learned to all of you.
Before I begin my sharing, I like to thank my friend Joyce gave me a ticket so as I could attend the seminar-T.Harv Eker's Millionaire Mind intensive course held in Singapore expo hall. Thank you Joyce to empower me. It is my pleasure to empower you through sharing as well.
Money management
It is important to have a right concept of money. With money we can do many wonderful things ( good causes ), helping family members, friends, the poor,etc.
We need to manage our money well, we need to have several accounts as follow:
1. Financial Freedom Account
Pay yourself first into this account 10% of your monthly income( term deposit/ investments), it acts like a money magnet. The time to spend this account is never. The idea is to create a golden goose. When you stop working, you get to spend the eggs but never the goose.
2. Long Term Saving for Spending Account
Put 10% of your monthly income into this account, this can be used for tour, contingency,etc.
3. Education Account
Put 10% of your monthly income in this account.
We need to constantly learn( growing ), if not, we are dying and full of ignorance. Like what Ben Franklin said:" If you think education is expensive, try ignorance."
4. Necessities Account
55% of your monthly income, this is for your food, transport fares,etc.
5. Play Account
10% of your monthly income, this money can be used for entertainment, movies, going out with friends, etc.
6. Give Account
Put at least 5% of your monthly income into this account. This money is for you to give, help the poor, charities,etc. If you choose to give 10%, then take the extra 5% from your Necessities Account( and change Necessities Account to 50%).
This is my sharing for today. Remember the following phase:
It's not, " when I have plenty of money, I'll begin to manage it." It's, " when I begin to manage it, I'll have plenty of money."
I hope one day if I have a chance to visit your place. I hope you can manage your money well, so you will be able to give me a meal.
Let's cheer it up, create a new files, delete all the old and useless files now.
You can do it, he can do it, she can do it, I can do it also. The universe will be happy if we can change for the better, see you on my next interesting post.

Change

The USA presidential election was just over, Obama was elected as a new president. The difference is that he is the first black president in USA history.
The slogan : " change we can believe." always inside my mind since the first time I saw it on the newspaper few months ago.
Obama's success ready inspire many people. It shows us that all people can fulfill their dreams if they believe.
With equal opportunities and proper education, our potential can be fully developed regardless whether we are the black, yellow or white.
Obama had said before:" Just look at the back mirror, you will know what the other candidate will do in the next 4 years if he is elected." That means same old policies, nothing change.
As for me, I just look at old newspaper these few years, I can see so many news about war, conflict, confrontation,etc. Can we do some changes?
War change to no war.
Conflict change to negotiations.
Confrontation changed to co-operation.
Hostility change to friendliness.
Hatred change to love.
Greed change to giving.
Stupidity change to wisdom.
To individual, we can always change for the better, we can do our part. This is my little short thought for today.
I am going to attend three days course from 07-11-08 to 09-11-08. I hope I can change for the better after the course. I will share it with you in my next post.

Forgiveness

Life is short but precious. We have to live bravely in whatever situation. Do not fear about failure, rejection, we treat it the learning experiences. It will make you stronger day by day.
Like John, he is stronger now after the unpleasant experience.
We should forgive those who had hurt us before [ wholeheartedly ] as they strengthen our will power.
Remember hatred create hatred , just look at the history of mankind, we will understand it. Let's always have the heart of forgiveness.
We should not have any enemies, all human are one, we are like brothers and sisters
Let's cheer it up, let love spread over the whole world.

Think before we talk

Yesterday, my friend told me the encounter that made him depressed for one whole day.
As you know nowadays many Internet users like to join different type of social network. My friend John had joined one of the social network and added many on line friends. What made him so angry just because of the following comment:
" John, you look very old as if you look likes 40 years old, I do not want to be your friend." seeing this, my friend felt hurt and depressed. He looked like totally lost the morale.
I consoled him: " John, please take it easy. This is the reality that in the real or Internet world, some will like you, some will not. Do not keep it to the heart, you just ignore it. It does not matter, surely some one will accept your invite. Please smile, you still have a lot of interesting things to do....."
After that, he really smiled and said:" Thank you very much. "
My friends, do you know why John felt depressed while seeing the comment?
My friends, I like to write more but I need to stop here because I feel hungry now.
One point I like to emphasize : Think before we talk or write, especially we must not hurt other's feeling unnecessary, am I right? Let's smile and empty all the worries.

Dream can come true

In our journey, surely we have a lot of dreams. Dreams can come true if we say it out, with help from others plus our own efforts.
The key is to put the ideas into action. Like all of you, I also have dreams. Today I want to share with you my little dream had already came true.
Few months ago, I read a post about article submission. I had a dream that my posts can be publised there-Ezine article. I had submitted two posts and interestingly this two posts were published after few days. They sent an e-mail saying that I am one of the expert author. Now, if I type my author name " william tan seng " I can see my articles there.

Best service

My last post--the difference, talk about the customer service. I am happy that all readers are fully understanding the importance of good customer service.
Best service
It is true that good customer service is the key success in sales. Through observation, we can say that some product/service providers still lacking on that.
I believe they need to enhance their personal skills through training courses. They can earn more for providing excellent service. Some are really crap when it come to customer service and surely will lose more customer. They need to be more concern, sensitive ,tactful, friendly and responsible to the needs of the client. It will surely rocks and more popular .
Those who lack finesse, customers will not visit them again .
Good service providers will definitely get really loyal customers. It is good to satisfy the customer, not just purely concern his pocket.

The difference

My friend Alice needed to see her client on next monday, She intended to trim her long hair.
Yesterday Alice went to hair salon A, Alice talked to the hair designer:" I need to trim my hair to look neat because I need to visit important client." Hair designer A [look serious and no smiling ] said:" Your hair needed to be permed straight, it costs $130." Alice said:' I just want to cut it shorter. Hair designer said:" No, no matter what, your hair must be permed straight, in order for you to look good, there is no other way." After hearing this, Alice felt hurt and said:" Let me consider first. " Alice walked out and went to other hair salon.
Alice went to hair salon B, the smiling hair designer was very friendly and said:' Hi, how can I help you? please take a seat and have a cup of coffee.' Alice told her about the intention. The experienced hair designer said:" to make your hair look neat, there is two solution, cut it shorter or perm , need not perm straight. Alice said:" ok, cut it short."
She look really neat, she spent only $23.

Success

Time is running very fast, I wrote my first post on 14-10-2007. Today 14-10-2008 is my happiest day because I am going to complete my first year of blogging.
I believe that I have hit my first year goal.
1. Persistence-Although I never write it every day, but I have managed to write post once a week or more.
2. Visit blog site-In between, I find time to visit other blogger site reading their great posts.
3. Interaction-I have learned many new things through interaction with all kinds of blogger including all of you.
4. Friendly bloggers-I observed so many friendly bloggers in this blog sphere.
5. Motivation-It is really fun to motivate others. I really appreciate all of you constantly motivate me by encouraging me to keep on moving.
6. Happiness-I feel happy that I have the chances to share my little thought.

Go extra mile

My friend has just told me a real story. I can not wait any longer but share it with all of you now. This was a long story but I cut it short because I know you have less time to read long story.
Mr.A, the famous USA motivational speaker told the audiences his early life as follow:
" Have you seen some African black children who are thinner with big Tommy on T.V screen? I was like them when I was a child. I had no enough food to eat and felt very weak. When the wind was blowing, I had to hug the tree tightly. If not, I would be blown away. Please do not laugh, I am here to motivate you. I can do it, why cant your?
I had managed to go to America illegally. I worked as labourer, toilet cleaner and many lowest graded jobs. I learned Spanish and English while working. One day, I looked for a new job- filing clerk . My boss like me very much. Whatever things he instructed me, I would do it properly. When my boss was hospitalised, nobody took care of him except me. The boss hold my hand tightly before leaving this world. My boss's son Mr.B was touched by my good deed and said:" Brother, I will help you to find any job you want."
I told him that I wanted to be hotel attendant. During the work, I observed rich men always had some books on the car boot. I found out the book titles. During weekend, I went to buy the books with same titles. A book-go extra mile changed my life completely.
After that, I experienced many type of job, I kept on learning, had attended seminar, liked to interact with people. That's why I am here to motivate you. Even a black child can make it, you have no reason can not make it."
My friend, Mr.A can, you also can. Believe me, you and I need to go extra mile.

Sharing

I look at myself, I am healthy and have a perfect body. I have a sound mind, I have a full time job.
The more joyful thing is that I still have time to motivate people to go extra miles on this blog site.
I can write anything I like. I find that I have all the freedom here. Of course, I have to responsible for whatever I say. I will be happy if my little thoughts can make your think further.
As you know, my friends always like to share with me some inspiring stories. I find it guilty if I just keep it to myself, so I am going to sharing with all of you.

Recycling

Yesterday, my reader Johnmatthew told me that he had a way to make money. He is a high school student, 13 years old. Currently he has a school project. He requested me to put his project to share with your. please this his project as below.
Environmentalism sounds great but there is the sticky question of what to do with all the rubbish. It may not be the most glamorous of industries but it is one of vital importance and one which carries special significant in a region known for it’s pristine forests and natural beauty. In this week’s Industry Insider we look at the main players in recycling, those who want to preserve and those just doing business.
RIGA - The best way to recycle a glass bottle in Tallinn is to leave it beside (but not in!) a public trash can. An enterprising local is sure to pick it up within a few minutes and find some use for it. In downtown Riga meanwhile, getting rid of garbage is pretty difficult. You won’t find any plastic containers neatly lining the alley, waiting to be emptied by garbage crews. Rigans urbanites have to greet the vans personally. If they are late, a sad walk back upstairs to the apartment with the same load is guaranteed.
Outside of the city center the situation is a bit better. There you can dump the garbage to one of several containers pretty much any time. But of course you have got to hope and pray that the garbage van shows up at all. Someone needs to find a better way to dispose of and recycle the Baltic’s garbage.The Riga city council begun reforming the the waste disposal system this year. The city is being divided into five areas with a specific operating company assigned to every district. The thrust of the new concept is to make the garbage disposal operators directly responsible for the actually collected waste, while citizens will be encouraged to sort their household garbage just like it is done in Germany.
Private operators in Riga fear reform would harm competition. This is nothing new according toRiga vice-mayor Janis Dinevitch who asserts the viability of the new model. “In the past, there was no true competition in the garbage disposal business in Riga, because 75% of the garbage was collected by one firm (L&T),” he said.Before 2009, 12 new dump facilities must be built in Latvia in accordance with the European regulations.At the moment there is only one “Getlini” garbage dump facility outside of Riga and no one wants another huge dump built close to the city. Despite its unpopularity in some quarters the Getlini facility is fully supported by EU standards.
The industry in Lithuania is fairly fragmented. In this country 76 specialist firms operate. One of the oldest players in municipal solid waste re-processing is VSA which specializes in hosting garbage containers near housing developments, on industrial sites, and in public areas. A strict sorting approach is applied by VSA to paper, plastic, and metal, with bulk and demolition waste management being two additional areas of expertise.Another company making waves in the industry is UAB “Monmarkas” They have been in the game 7 years. Apart from traditional waste collection, sorting, and re-cycling, this company is keen on technological innovation and working within the Strategic Waste Management Plan of Lithuania. The company offers a complete cycle for packaging products: from wholesale trading in imported polymeric raw materials and packaging to re-cycling at the end of the cycle.
Lithuania also boasts specialized niche companies. “UAB EMP Recycling” was established in 1999 with focus on re-cycling electronic equipment, cable, and wire and catalyst waste with the idea to bring certain types of materials back to the manufacturing industry. In Lithuanian at least it may be all rubbish but the players are sophisticated, highly competitive and have a certain cosmopolitan flair.
Estonia is attempting to develop an advanced recycling system similar to what you would find in Scandinavia. In November 2008, Tallinn will be hosting Environmental Projects and Technologies Exhibition dedicated to wastewater treatment, incinerator systems, liquid waste re-cycling, and specialized areas such as nationwide lamp, ballast, battery, and electronics re-cycling services. 24 countries are expected to attend the forum, including 16 EU nations, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Serbia, Moldova, Sweden, Switzerland, and Turkey.

Quality control

I have received many valuable comments from my last post-Life is precious.
They are very concerned about their health and qualities of products because they all want longer lives.
I had been working in the medical company in the past. I had to keep proper record for all poison and non-poison medicines. My in charge would counter check it regularly.
Every few months, the health authority would come to the factory for spot check, so as to ensure no abuse use of poison medicine.
I hope all business men not only take care of their own health but also others' health.
Love yourself and love others also.

life is precious

My friends, how are you today? I believe that you are fine and breathing the oxygen smoothly. You are now staying here-coolingstar9's garden to view my new tree, hope you like it.
Today, I am going to imagine how some parents' great pain. I hope all of you can spend just few minutes to think what went wrong.
This is my imagination.
Imagine If I have a young kid or baby, what is my expectation of him or her? First of all, I want him to be healthy and it is my duty to educate him well. I want to instill some good values to him so as he has the foundation to face the new challenges in future.
I will give him more love. If I have more money, I will buy some branded milk for him, so that he can grow up faster and stronger.
But now, my hope is shattered, he has " stones " in his kidney. I am worried for his life because some babies had already died for drinking branded milk with poison.
Who add poison? Why they want to put poison? Something wrong on quality control?
I continue worry for him. Can he continue his life journey longer?
My imagination is over.

Let's bin it

Many years ago, I went to subordinate court just to know about the procedure of court hearing. I could see so many lawyers, police officers, offenders, etc. I passed by court no.13, I could see many people queuing up, I asked a man why so many were here. He told me they were to answer the offence--littering.
In this city, if we caught littering by enforcement officers, we will be fined $200. If we do the same offence again, we will be fined more or need to clean up the designated area.
$200 is not a small amount for low income family, so please do not spend the hard earned money just to pay for that fine, you will feel " great pain "
Why people still want to litter here and there? I believe this is a bad habit from young.
This is the time that we need to respect " rubbish " also, if we do not respect it, then we are likely to pay $200 or more.
I hope all of you treat " rubbishes " as money, let's put them into the bank[ bin ].
Let's bin it, do not let enforcement officers have the chance to catch us. Am I right?

Do the right thing

Yesterday, I saw a paper pasted inside the lift. The paper had few words as follow: " You can see the flowers, please do not take it away. If you take the flowers away, you feel happy but the flower lover { owner } will feel sad. "
After seeing this, I believe someone might had stolen the flower pot from others. This is really a bad deed. I know there are many flower lovers who put the flower pot outside their house. If anyone really loves the flowers, he should ask permission from the owner, he should not steal.
Do you encounter something like that?

Give VS Get

Last month, I spent most of my free time watching Olympic games on T.V. I was really enjoying it, I had less time to visit your blog site. I am now seeking your understanding for that.

Fighting spirit

Beijing Olympic was over, I have learnt something from it.
1. Planning- In order to make Olympic games successful, China had planned carefully in every aspects long before Olympic like building world-class stadiums,etc.
2. Environmental control- China had implemented several measures to reduce pollution.This created a pollution-free environment to ensure no health hazard for athletes and tourists.
3. Learn English diligently- Service personnel needed to attend English courses, so that they could communicate with athletes and tourists well. 4. Tough training for all athletes- China got the most gold medal in their Olympic history, their athletes went through very tough training behind the scene.
5. Fighting spirit- I could see many countries' athletes did their very best during competitions.
Of course, We should congratulate those who got gold, silver, bronze medal. We should also salute all athletes for their fighting spirit because they dare to challenge, dare to dream big even they never get any medal.
My friend, we need to plan carefully what we want to do in our life. Let's learn from them-fighting spirit. It is so nice to enjoy the process. Let's keep on moving.

Let's hug Liu xiang

I have been watching Beijing Olympic game since 08-08-2008. I really enjoy it as I can see so many outstanding performances daily. I also read newspaper to keep track all Olympic events every day. That's why I have less time to visit your, sorry for that.
Life is unpredictable even for athletes. Do you know how much efforts they have put in behind scene? They went through a lot of tough training from young. With the strong will power, they had cleared so many obstacles. It is really a nice thing to compete with others in Beijing Olympic to achieve their goal, the best one will get the gold, silver or bronze medal.
The journey is not easy for athletes, some of them were injured during the training session or in the race, Liu xiang is one of the examples.
I felt sad for Liu xiang's withdrawal from the heats for the 100m hurdles[ Beijing Olympic ] due to unbearable pain on his legs. After the incident, I saw two types of comments from fans, some encouraged him to try again next time, some laughed at him by voicing out their anger.
Liu xiang made comments during his interview on Television. He said: " I knew I couldn't make it when I was warming up and I couldn't even jog, I feel very sorry. But there's really nothing I could do. If I had finished the race, I would have risked my tendon. I could not describe my feeling at that moment. I never quit easily. I am not that type of person. " He also wrote something on his blog site. Liu wrote: " Please believe me that the hurt and sadness in my heart cannot be less than yours. At the same time, please believe I am the same Liu xiang as before."
Liu xiang will run again after the recovery, let's hug him .We should hug him even he fell. I salute him for his fighting spirit and he had made the history in year2004- the first Asian who got the gold medal in track and field in Olympic game.

He was promoted to manager

Steven is a financial consultant, he was promoted to manager from associate manager last month, he told us his story.
In the beginning of year2007, he was thinking of running marathon, he wrote down this goal. Steven also told all his friends, colleagues, relatives that he wanted to participate the marathon race. Ironically, he just said only but no action.
One month later, Steven was involved in the car accident and his left arm was injured, he needed help from colleagues to write reports for him because he was left -handed. At that time, he thought he could use this as an excuse, but after some deep thought, he felt embarrassed not to run marathon.
Luckily, he met a marathon group, the group leader encouraged him to start running marathon, he finally made it .
He feel motivated whenever he see motivated words on other participants' shirts. Since then, he run regularly and build up his confidence level. Because of the positive mindset, it helped him hit the sales target and was promoted to manager.
He now encouraging people to run marathon.It can test your endurance.

The Marathon is a long, grueling race which traditionally closes the Olympic events. It is taken from the amazing achievement of the Greek runner Pheidippides, who ran over twenty-six miles in for hours, taking news to Athens of the Persians’ defeat at the Battle of Marathon in 490 B.C.

My direct sales experiences

Direct sales is a challenging job. Patience and persistence are the main factors that lead to success in direct sales. I was doing direct sales, promoting children educational materials for few years, the experiences helped me in my present job. Due to inexperience, I needed to follow my team supervisor on the job training. After one week, I had to do it on my own.Initially, I was very nervous when talking to clients. I was unable to close any sales because of poor presentation skills and inadequate product knowledge.Luckily, my team manager Mr. Tony kept on motivating me, telling me that I was capable. He told me that he could not close any sales in the first week. With passion and undaunted spirit, he finally closed six sales in the third week. He told me that success needed persistence and determination. He gave me few motivation books to read.After that, I kept on learning the product knowledge and improving my selling skills. I finally closed four sales in the third week, it boosted my confidence.Since then, I worked extremely hard and was promoted to sales supervisor after few months. I started to lead the new team and taught them whatever I had learned about direct sales. I remembered that I had won a camera during the team competition and a free trip to Bali as well.This was indeed a wonderful direct sales experiences for me. Please do not give up if you are in direct sales.

Do your best

On 08-08-2008 at 2008 hrs, about 4 billions people worldwide watching the opening ceremony on 29Th Olympic game.
I had watched the event on live on the TV for few hour. I was enjoying it very much as I could see so many joyful faces in the stadium. This Olympic game is an very important international event, it promotes friendship, cultural exchange amongst all countries. Through this, we can understand each other better.
I wish all athletes do their best to win the competitions. It is meaningless to win the title if the athlete consume banned drugs. I really salute those athletes who had qualified for the games as they had put in lots of efforts.
Do you want to become Olympic champion? Yes, but within yourself. As long as you do your best in whatever fields you do, then you can become Olympic champion within yourself.

Study history

Yesterday, a student asked me a question: " How to score Grade" A " in the school subject- History. I told him the following: You need to memorize all the facts and figures [ year and date ], it is best to really understand it rather than just memorize it. He again asked me the other question: " What is the use of studying History? I then gave him the typical answer. I told him: " learn from the past experiences and do not repeat the same mistakes again. "
My friend, do you like to study History? Do you also want to score Grade "A " in History, then you have to study hard, no short cut for that.
Now, I have a suggestion for you and more likely you can score " A ". Now, you might me wondering what is that?
Listen carefully, You can study your own History . If you are 33 years old, you have 33 years of history.

Last post, I supposed to write about love but I was unable to do so due to some obstacles.

Obstacles

Yesterday I supposed to write a post about love but something happened while writing. You might be wondering what was obstructing me, my computer -keyboard suddenly refused to work. I believe some wiring problem on this old computer. So sad, my lovely computer finally get sick.
In order to tell you about this, I have no choice but using on-screen keyboard to clear this obstacle. These few days, I may not visit your blogs, sorry for that, lets cheer up.
Wow, Computer just like man , it goes through ageing process. I just wondering , did you encounter these types of problems before?

My friend Anand joined as an insurance adviser in year 2007. He told me that he has encountered many obstacles within this two years, sometimes he was thinking of quiting the job. But his manager was a nice person, always motivated him that he could do it. Anand had put in a lot of efforts, he told me success needs hard work and strong will power.
Yesterday, Anand told me that he had just received " fast track award ". This was an award given to new insurance adviser for hitting the sales target. I congratulated him for his achievement.

Last month, I went to visit the book fair at Suntec city. One exhibition booth selling magic kid-like toy attracted my attention. The salesman shouted:" turn two round.' , the tiny palm-sized toy immediately responded to the command, jumped up and turned two round. I saw so many people laughed.
A boy talked to his mom:' mom, mom , the toy is very cute, it can salute, sleep, move forward and backward, is a listening toy, I want it, I want it. ' The mom then bought it for her kid, the toy cost 5 dollars.
The next day I talked about this magic toy to my colleagues, they all interested in this magic toy. They wanted to buy it for their kids, bring joy to them.
If I have the super magic toy, I want the toy to send flowers to all of you. Why? Bring joy and cheer your up.

Happy moment

On this coming Saturday, our department will be holding a small party. I will participate and enjoy it.
This gathering is a time for us to have some fun and interaction. We can eat a lot of fruits, food.

I am happy to see so many races here, all people can live peacefully. We respect each others and work hard to contribute something to the society and country.
Although here has no natural resources but only has " Human resources "
The government has invested a lot on education so as we have the capability and skills to survive in this competitive global world. We have to go globally, constantly look out new opportunity in business, etc. From the media, I learn that many countries from middle east, Asia, Europe even Africa welcome us for investments, consultancies, etc.

Father's day is fall on 15Th June. Lets talk little bit about father, father usually the one who goes out for work but nowadays mother also shares the burden.
Father is not so close to his children compare to mother. As a man, father can do many types of jobs depend to his ability or skill. Some need to do heavy work and feel really tired and exhausted after work, he has no choice because he needs to feed the kids and whole family.
Sometimes father raises up the voice or beat his kids simply out of love. He wants his child to learn good.
Father's day is the day for you and me to think and show appreciation to him. Let him feel touched by your sincere care. It is really important to take care well when he still alive. Please forgive him if he beat you in the past.
You can buy something for him or write a letter of appreciation or anything you feel comfortable.

Money and health

I believe all people love money because money not only satisfy our basic needs, like cloth, food, shelter.
In the society, not all people are rich, some are poor because of different background. It is normal to pursue the dream to earn more money to have better living for us and family.
Some need to work overtime, some need to go oversea to have better income.
For whatever reasons, we need to take care our health, we should not overwork. Certain sickness can not be cured even we have lots of money.
For people like you and me, we need to take a short break while surfing internet for a long time.
Remember health is wealth also, I wish all of you have a lot of money and good health as well.

This is a " click " world, why I say that? Children started to learn and use computer at the very youngest age even in preschool . They learned how to use mouse to click and click, am I right?
Today, I surf internet for an hour to find some information, I use mouse to click from one web site to the other, the internet is like the deep sea, so many things to see and learn.
When we go to the web site, we look through the page, we will click the " link " if we find interest on it. If we are really interested in learning some more, we will click further. Likewise, If we find no interest at all, we will stop clicking further or go to the other web site.
This is a " click " world, for advertisers, they expect people to click their advertisement, so that they can promote their products or services. How successful he is depend on how many traffic and clicks .
Likewise, any popular or successful blogger also depend on " clicks ". If no click, then slowly they will disappeared from the internet unless he is blogging purely on passion.
For blogger, there is some rule applied especially goggle advertisement , he himself can not click the advertisement on his own site or tell people to click the goggle advertisement on his site.
How to have more clicks without telling readers to click on it is an important task for those blogger who want to earn some money from the advertisement.
I feel excited whenever I see more clicks because I know that I can drink more coffee. I feel happy because they enjoy reading my blogs and they want to know more relevant information, that's why they click the relevant advertisement.

Smile

A popular singer Stefanie Sun has been a goodwill ambassador for the humanitarian organisation Mercy Relief since 2004.
Stefanine cried when she heard news of Sinchuan quake.
For the little ones who survived in the disaster zones in Sichuan, she will distribute five thousand sets of backpacks containing exercise books, pencils, art materials, simple toys and games to them this weekend.
She hopes to bring a smile to the kids. The messages to be delivered this Sunday, Children's Day in China, say:

Courage

Today, I watch the charity show on Chanel 8. This show is to collect donation to help earthquake victims mainly orphan and build schools in Sinchuan.
Many businessmen, ordinary people regardless of race, religion, nationality donate the money generously by calling charity hot line. Many actors and actress participate the charity show. During the show, I can see many audiences feel sad and in tear while seeing the scene in Sinchuan affected area.
The touching scenes like parents lost their sons, children lost their parents. We can see how the rescue teams risked their lives to save earthquake victims as more as possible.
We can hear many touching songs performed by actors, actress, singers in the show. The touching performances like ' mother, please do not cry " , the songs like " We are strong men " really touch people's heart. The songs, performances are to encourage those victims to stand up, face the challenges and live courageously. The charity show also tell Sinchuan victims that love is flowing from the whole world.
I also play a part by calling hot line to make a little donation. I wish all the earthquake victims to overcome all the difficulties, live bravely because there is a purpose in life.

I need a break

Today is friday, I am thinking to take a break and have total relaxation on this weekend.
On Saturday, I will visit Jurong birdpark to take a tour there, this is the world biggest birdpark. On Sunday, I will visit sentosa to see how the development there.
I will forget all the work and fully enjoy the scenery, no surfing internet totally on this weekend.
I believe that besides work, we need relaxation.

A caring society

This monday, earthquake hit China sinchuan province badly. Many building collapsed, many people died and injured.
Premier Mr. Wen immediately went to the affected area. He said:" We have to make sure every district has rescue teams, saving human is the priority."
He went to console earthquake victims and motivated rescue teams to do their utmost.
Besides help from international community, China people shown care by helping, donating money to their fellow citizens.
Here, We also have many private organization , ordinary people [ different race, faith ] donating money to earthquake victims.
I salute all these kindhearted people, they did the good deed, this is indeed a caring society.

Sympathy

Last saturday, Cyclone hit Myanmar badly, so many people died. A giant wave washed in, dragging everything into the sea. Houses and building collapsed and people were swept away. An estimated million people left homeless by devastating cyclone. Many countries had offered assistance to Myanmar, like water, food, medical supply, tent,etc.

Yesterday , I passed by a coffee shop and overheard the conversation as follow:
Richard:" David, I feel sad that so many cyclone victims still waiting water and food." David:" This is not my country, nothing do with me."
Richard:" David, how can you say that? we are all human, we should show sympathy and offer help. We should not just ignore it. How about if these things happened to you and your family?"
David:" Richard, sorry, you are right, I am so selfish. I should show sympathy."
Friends, Do you behave like David while hearing this cyclone incident? I feel sad for them and I will donate some money.

Mother day

Mother day is coming soon, my friend seeks my suggestion how to celebrate it. I suggested to him the following.
As you know, mother love is very great. Mother took care me from the very first day. She suffered the pain of delivering me but she tolerated it.
When I was sick, she was so worried and she could not sleep properly. She gave me unselfish love that we really need to appreciate.
During mother day, what we can do is that we can write a letter of appreciation to mother to express our love to her. I can tell you that mother will be touched.
I hope all of you can do that during the mother day to let your mother realize that you really care and love her.

I salute you, Cleaners

Yesterday was a labour day. I was thinking something " Labour ".
Every morning,when I wake up and go for jogging, I find the streets are so clean, who does it? When the shopping centre is opened in the morning, we can see the whole shopping centre is so clean,who does it?
All the school / factory / government offices, corridors are so clean,who does it? This is because our cleaners. Without cleaners, you can imagine how is look like, so I respect cleaners, in flat cleaning job is one of the profession. I think we should call them environmental professional, this is my personal view, do you agree? Do you clean your house daily? Do you consider yourself the cleaner?

Focus brings result

Last post, I talked about Joyce had a vision and she worked towards it and earned $1M in 4 years.
After graduation from school, Joyce took up an insurance course and passed the examination. After that, she joined an insurance company. In the beginning, she looked through telephone directory and made many cold call but the results were not good. In average, she got two customers only after making 100 cold call. She changed the strategy, she went to shopping mall to distribute survey forms to passer-by, she got more customers.
Joyce believed that she needed to change the strategy again to achieve the goal faster. This time, she simply took the plain paper to talk to the passer-by, if the party was interested in knowing more, she would make an appointment. She never feared about rejection from passer-by.
This was a right strategy for Joyce, she finally made $1M in 4 years.
During the seminar, an audience asked: " I think you had so good results because you were beautiful."
Joyce answered: " Being beautiful was a plus factor but my hard work and total focus were the key factors. "
Now, Joyce has cleared all the debts and feel energetic daily. Her present mission as a director is to share all her knowledge wholeheartedly to others and give coaching.I wish Joyce happy forever.

Dare to dream big

Joyce is a Financial Services Director with a reputable organisation. She shared her life experiences during the recent seminar.
Ten years ago, there was riots in Indonesia. For safety reason, her parents sent her here to further her studies.
The parents needed to borrow money from others for Joyce's school fees and other expenses. During that period, Joyce could only spend $10 a week. She sometimes ate instant noodle. She always look at school notice board to find out the date of seminars held in school or other venues. She would attend the seminars because she could eat free food there.
One day, Joyce had a deep thought, She asked herself the following questions.
1. Can I change my destiny for me and my family?
2. How to quicky help parents to pay debt of $40000?
3. How to make my parents have a better life?
She had a clear vision after the deep thought. She had a drive, she told to herself that she must change the destiny. She finally made it, I will tell you how she could earn $1m in 4 years after her completion of her studies.

Compassion

Yesterday, I phoned my niece to say " Hello " to her. My niece is a primary one student and she likes to help others. Sometimes she helps her teachers to carry books to the office.
She told me that she had just received a certificate of compassion. I asked her whether she did something good. She told me the following : "--Last week, I saw a classmate fell down and injured herself and I brought her to the general office for first aid. I was awarded the certificate of compassion because of this. "
Hearing this, I complimented her: " -- You have done a good deed, keep it up. --"
It is really good that the teacher praised her by giving her a certificate. Other young students also can learn to be compassionate to others.
Do you agree that compassion should be cultivated from young?

Examination

I had just completed and passed the examination-customer service excellence.
The course trainer Mr. Dennis was able to get all of us participated. At the beginning of the course, we needed to introduce ourselves individually to build up the rapport.
We were all enthusiastic in learning, ask many questions during the course. The trainer was very observant and let those weak one to have more role play.
Mr. Dennis gave many examples and scenarios so as to make us fully understand the different concepts.
I also actively participated in discussions and role play. I learnt a lot through all these.
Reaching home, I studied the notes before going to bed. I really concentrated because I wanted to pass the examination.
The oral examination was held on the third day, the examiner Mr. Rosli was very friendly.
He said:" --I know you have already studied and all the answers are already inside your brain. I am very comfortable with you, I hope you also comfortable with me--"
Hearing this, I felt really good and could acting well in the oral examination.
Finally, I passed the examination. I will be awarded the certificate soon.
