My friend Alice needed to see her client on next monday, She intended to trim her long hair.
Yesterday Alice went to hair salon A, Alice talked to the hair designer:" I need to trim my hair to look neat because I need to visit important client." Hair designer A [look serious and no smiling ] said:" Your hair needed to be permed straight, it costs $130." Alice said:' I just want to cut it shorter. Hair designer said:" No, no matter what, your hair must be permed straight, in order for you to look good, there is no other way." After hearing this, Alice felt hurt and said:" Let me consider first. " Alice walked out and went to other hair salon.
Alice went to hair salon B, the smiling hair designer was very friendly and said:' Hi, how can I help you? please take a seat and have a cup of coffee.' Alice told her about the intention. The experienced hair designer said:" to make your hair look neat, there is two solution, cut it shorter or perm , need not perm straight. Alice said:" ok, cut it short."
She look really neat, she spent only $23.
My friends, do you notice any difference in term of their customer service.

Salon A is crap when it comes to customer service and just lost a customer.
Salon B gained $23 and a customer because of their good customer service.

Salon B has the best customer service. Salon A should study more about customer service. Lol.
Not surprising, I see such people almost every day. :)
well, yeah of course... definitely there's na difference between salon A & B! salon A is just after what he will earn from the client/service... salon B is more of being concern, sensitive and responsible to the needs of the client! attitude counts!

saloon B here is more tactful an friendly .This is how one should serve the customer.The saloon A lack finesse.I would never ever go to such saloon :D

nice story...i feel that its really nice to be friendly with everyone...and its really important to keep ur cool..well according to me the Salon B has a good customer handling skills and should definitely get really loyal customers
Hi coolingstar.. the first wasnt looking to satisfy his customer, his pocket instead!! how mean.. but then he even lost that $23 in greed..
i always do my hair in order to look good...but what i cannot stand is they always persuade me to buy hair products that i dont even need...! and the worst thing is i ended buying it!
saloon b is more popular but very very rude and proud (in a bad way).
