Obstacles

Yesterday I supposed to write a post about love but something happened while writing. You might be wondering what was obstructing me, my computer -keyboard suddenly refused to work. I believe some wiring problem on this old computer. So sad, my lovely computer finally get sick.
In order to tell you about this, I have no choice but using on-screen keyboard to clear this obstacle. These few days, I may not visit your blogs, sorry for that, lets cheer up.
Wow, Computer just like man , it goes through ageing process. I just wondering , did you encounter these types of problems before?

Absolutely I have had all most every problem you can have with a computer. The sad part of all of this is that I created them myself and I didn't have to try very hard to do it! I have talents I didn't know I had.

Computers are not people. Odds are even worse, and when they fail, they can't recover by themselves...

aaa copywriter,
It is true that computers are not people because they can't recover by themselves. It is us to analyze the problems what went wrong on the computer.
Human beings facing all types of problems in life. With our brilliant mind, we can make an analysis on that problems and come out the best solutions.
Alex, thanks a lot, have a beautiful life.

Hi Coolingstar9,
Yes, I had encountered the very same problem on my laptop a couple of months ago. My hubby unplugged the keyboard, put it back and it fixed. He did just that.

Have a great weekend and Good luck, Coolingstar9!

Beth,
You intend to buy branded new laptop soon, its a good news.
Beth, to prolong your computer's life, the following information can help you.
you need to keep Your PC clean, it needs regular and preventive maintenance to clear dust, dirt and grime away because the chips and circuits in your system have two enemies; heat and corrosion.
Sticky keyboards make it difficult to type , dirty monitors can make it difficult to read what's on the screen, and dust inside of your computer can make overclocking difficult. Cleaning a computer while it is on could damage the equipment and possibly even cause harm to you.
Dust Accumulates inside your computer causing Overheating, Chip Burn Out and Malfunctioning Drives. Dirt and Dust are very abrasive on moving parts like Drive Heads, Keyboard Contacts and Printer Gears etc.
Note: Dust forms an insulating blanket that prevents heat from being dissipated. The heat generated by the various components, including the Central Processing Unit (CPU), a significant source of heat, will build up and raise the temperature inside the box. The CPU fan and the power supply fan will not be able to do their job effectively. When components overheat the operating stability of the computer can be affected and components may fail.
You need to regularly check that the power supply fan is functioning properly or not. Simply hold your hand over the fan grille at the back of the computer box. If you do not feel the air flow have your computer checked as soon as possible.
Never turn your computer off with the power switch until Windows has shut down.
Backup, backup, backup, any data you cannot afford to lose.
Run Scandisk and Defragment at least once a month.
Never unplug peripherals from the computer when it is powered up.
Do keep at least 100 MBs of your C: drive free for Windows to use. If you use Windows Me or Windows XP then you should have 300 MBs or more of free space on your C: drive.
Do not let a lot of programs load up when you start your computer.
Do use a virus checker regularly.
If you have a high speed Internet connection you need a firewall program.
Keep track of the software disks you receive with your computer and new peripherals.
Wendy, hope these tips can help you to prolong your computer's life.
Have a happy life.
