In this world, there are so many type of religion. For me, I have the concept that all are good. Why? All religions tell people to do good deeds. The only difference is whether the follower can follow the teaching or not. If they can follow their teaching correctly, I think this will be the wonderful thing.
If we say my religion is good, other religion is evil, then our mind are not in stable state. The correct concept is that I follow my one faithfully and I am happy to see you follow your one faithfully. We must not say our one is good and other ones are bad.
I see all religion are good. All religion tell people not to steal, not to do immoral things like having abnormal affairs with others, no drugs, etc.
So, if all followers can follow practically, all will be fine. Talking good but doing bad deeds behind curtains are all useless.
Remember hatred is the enemy for all followers. For example, thinking of going to heaven and killing others is the very stupid act. We all must hug enemies not kill them.....
We all must respect all human being regardless what religions they are.
Can you say " all are good". For me I can say it loudly " all are good but I am the one bad. I mean I need to wake up and do the good deeds now. Time is limited, I have to let go now. I want to be free like the bird when I am leaving this world. No burden, no pressure, all peace within.

Please do only good deeds
Human beings have all kings of desires. Desires can be extremely dangerous if one does not how to deal with it. Needs and desires are quite similar, for example, We need air to breathe, We need water to drink and food to eat for survival. But desires are something go beyond it. We wouldn't die if we have no desires.
Desires can be classified in two, good one or bad one. For example if you have desires to go to the university, it is the good desire. If you want to have more money but engaging in illegal means or activities, it is the bad one.
The trouble is on the bad one, it can lead to addiction and you will be emotionally downhill if your desires can not be fullfilled.
Having a decent job and keep your hard earned money is the good thing. Do not think of money fall on your bed. Say yes to all good deeds. Do not have single dot of bad things on mind. Remember having the positive mindset will lead you to peaceful and meaningful life. The great impact is that your life will be heading to brightest path and always lucks will be followed.
By now you should now why we must do good deeds. If you do not understand, please feel free to drop few lines so that I can advise you how to go to the brighter path.
Let's smile because life is always good if we know what is the truth and what is the bright paths.

First aid course
Next week I am going to attend first aid course. After the end of the first aid course, I have to take the first aid test. Before I go to attend the first course, I think it is good for me to look through the previous first aid handout and study it, so that I can better prepared for the refresher first aid course. My only aim is to pass the first aid test, that's all. I need to concentrate on first aid study these few days.
Frankly speaking I have forgotten lots related to first aid. Let me use the time to study a bit so that I feel more confident when I attend the first aid course next week.
What is first aid? Immediate assistance or treatment given to the injured or ill before arrival of an ambulances, doctor or other appropriately qualified person. Yes, I had the first aid certificate but I think this probably expired already. Even I still have the valid first aid certificate, I think I can not ready perform well if someone need my first aid help. So this is the suitable time for me to attend the first aid refresher course. After the first aid course and if I pass the test, I will be able to render first aid help to you if you need it and provided that you are near me at that time. Perhaps I can perform CPR for you. What is CPR, I will study it later, this will be the practical part. Now I study the first aid knowledge first.
What are the aims of first aid? preserve life, prevent the condition from becoming worse, promote recovery. Yes, as the first aider, I can save people' life but I must have the knowledge and skill.
Let me go straight to the different type of injuries because there will surely questions on that.
Bleeding: Type of bleeding Arterial bleeding, venous bleeding and capillary bleeding. We need to know that arterial bleeding, bright red in colour whereas venous bleeding. dark red in colour. How to give treatment for external bleeding? Direct pressure, elevation, small adhesive dressing.
What is Shock in first aid term? Insufficient blood supply o the body's vital organs. The causes are as follow heart fails to work, blood vessels dilate, reducing the blood pressure. Also blood loss or loss of other bodily fluids. How to recognise it? We can see the following sign like a rapid pulse. pale, grey-blue skin. Sweating and cold, clammy skin. The other signs like weakness and giddiness, nausea and possibly vomiting, thirst, rapid shallow breathing, restless, anxious and even aggressive. Wow, may yawn and gasp for air or unconscious.
I have to stop here first because I need to rest now. I will continue study once I wake up. Wow, so many to learn, still got 99 percent to learn. I think it is better to learn from the first aid teacher. It is better that self-study, am I right? But it is ok because I just want to refresh myself little bit before I go for the first aid course.
Pray for me, my dear readers.

Borrow money
Mr. J is the cleaner supervisor, he had been working in my working place for few month. Within this few month, I had lent him some money or gave him some money. Until now he still never return me any money. Actually I also never chase him because I know he has financial difficulty.
But I am wondering how come he always like to borrow money from me whenever he see me.
The first time Mr. J told me that he had no money to celebrate his three kids' birthday, I then gave him 20 dollars so that Mr. J could buy birthday cake for his kids.
Other time He told me that he was unable to pay up the renting fees, I gave him 30 dollars. Besides that he always asked for coins, some cash for top up his bus fare card or he needed money for food.
Do you think I should continue lend him money?

Goggle search
Goggle search is the most easier search engine nowadays. When you type any words, goggle search will give you the most likely results almost instantly. Recently there is the survey, goggle search is the most favourite for Internet users.
How come Goggle search is so successful? What is the reasons? There is actually no short cut way for goggle search to the the best. It is because goggle company has the dedicated team and its leaders are very sharped-minded one.
In order to provide excellent service, goggle has a set of formula to know the customers' interests so that goggle can provide relevant business information for them. So far we never heard that Goggle misuse the formula.
I hope goggle search can continue to become the best search engine. Personally I love to use goggle search engine and I experienced the wonder of goggles culture. Let's continue to support goggle search engine. Do you like to use goggle search engine? I hope you enjoy it as me.

Stephen Hawking inspire us
My friend Miss Joyce Tan is the financial planner. She likes to attend courses and make friends. She constantly needs my encouragement. Today She tell me that a psychology lecturer Mdm Lee is interested in financial planning but Joyce Tan tell me that she needs her manager to talk to Mdm Lee because She had no confidence to talk to Mdm Lee-the high fly er.
I tell her the story of Stephen Hawing and she thanks me.
Let us all learn about Stephen Hawing. Mr. Stephen Hawking is the famous scientist He is now 70 years old. When Stephen Hawking was given a diagnosis of Lou Gehrig’s disease at age 21, he was expected to live only three years. On Sunday, he turned 70.
Famous for his work on black holes, he has been one of the world’s greatest physicists despite devastating physical decline: Paralyzed from the neck down by 1970, he lost the ability to speak in 1985. He now communicates using software that translates the twitching of a muscle in his cheek into words. One sentence can take 10 minutes.
As one of the events surrounding his birthday, he gave a rare interview to New Scientist magazine. Most of it is well over the average reader’s head: The most exciting physics development in his time, he said, was the “discovery of tiny variations in the temperature of the cosmic microwave background . . . in excellent agreement with the predictions of inflation.” (This, New Scientist explains, supports the big bang theory.)
Stephen Hawking is the handicapped but he is the valued person simply because he never give up.
Let us learn from Stephen Hawking to be the valued person.
Can we? The answer is yes.

New year eve 2012
On 31st 2011, the new year eve, I went to attend my colleague (Saro) 's son Vicky 21st birthday celebration at Fort Canning Park.
Out of six colleagues, only I and the other colleague free to attend Vicky birthday blast. I intended to attend the birthday party to have more exposure and strengthening the relationship with others. I reached at the destination at 1930 hrs.
My colleague Saro saw me and said that she was extremely happy to see me here to attend his son's birthday blast. She told me that there would be magical show, dancing and singing programmes. I was enjoying all these.
At about 2300hrs, I left the site and went to nearby orchard road. I saw so many people there waiting for the count down.

Treat others well
If we are in service line, we are told to treat customer well. We always hear " customer is always right".
But we do that because we want to gain profits from the customers. How about adopting the same attitude even if we are not in service line?
I think this is good attitude towards others not just the customers. Let me share with you the story.
Madam Tan is the lecturer on psychology in the university. She said her husband always shout louder to her but she talk to him in the soft mode.
Asking her can she change his husband 's attitude. She said that she was unable to change him. She said a person can be changed unless he want to change himself.

The number of the audience at the first assembly
The number of the audience at the first assembly
[13] The Buddha said to Ananda, "The number of shravakas at the first teaching assembly of that Buddha was incalculable; so was the number of the bodhisattvas. Even if an immeasurable and uncountable number of humans multiplied by millions of kotis should all become like Mahamaudgalyayana and together reckon their number during innumerable nayutas of kalpas, or even until they attain Nirvana, they could still not know that number. Let us suppose that there is a great ocean, infinitely deep and wide, and that one takes a drop of water out of it with a hundredth part of a split hair. How would you compare that drop of water with the rest of the ocean?"
Ananda replied, "When the drop of water is compared with the great ocean, it is impossible even for one skilled in astronomy or mathematics to know the proportion, or for anyone to describe it by any rhetorical or metaphorical expressions."
The Buddha said to Ananda, "Even if people like Mahamaudgalyayana were to count for millions of kotis of kalpas, the number of the shravakas and bodhisattvas at the first teaching assembly who could be counted would be like a drop of water, and the number of sages yet to be counted would be like the rest of the ocean."

Amida's life-span
Amida's life-span [12] The Buddha said to Ananda, "The life of Amitabha is so long that it is impossible for anyone to calculate it. To give an illustration, let us suppose that all the innumerable sentient beings in the worlds of the ten quarters were reborn in human form and that every one became a shravaka or pratyekabuddha. Even if they assembled in one place, concentrated their thoughts, and exercised the power of their wisdom to the utmost to reckon the length of the Buddha's life, even after a thousand million kalpas they could still not reach its limit. So it is with the life-span of shravakas, bodhisattvas, heavenly beings and human beings in his land. Similarly, it is not to be encompassed by any means of reckoning or by any metaphorical expression. Again, the number of the shravakas and bodhisattvas living there is incalculable. They are fully endowed with transcendent wisdom and free in their exercise of majestic power; they could hold the entire world in their hands."

Amida's light
Amida's light [11] The Buddha said to Ananda, "The majestic light of the Buddha Amitabha is the most exalted. No other Buddha's light can match his. The light of some Buddhas illuminates a hundred Buddha-lands, and that of others, a thousand Buddha-lands. Briefly, that of Amitabha illuminates the eastern Buddha-land, as numerous as the sands of the River Ganges. In the same way, it illuminates the Buddha-lands in the south, west and north, in each of the four intermediate quarters, above and below. Further, the light of some Buddhas extends seven feet; that of others, one yojana, or two, three, four or five yojanas; and the distance covered increases in this way until the light of some Buddhas illuminates one Buddha-land.
"For this reason, Amitabha is called by the following names: the Buddha of Infinite Light, the Buddha of Boundless Light, the Buddha of Unhindered Light, the Buddha of Incomparable Light, the Buddha of the Light of the King of Flame, the Buddha of Pure Light, the Buddha of the Light of Joy, the Buddha of Light of Wisdom, the Buddha of Unceasing Light, the Buddha of Inconceivable Light, the Buddha of Ineffable Light, and the Buddha of the Light Outshining the Sun and the Moon.
"If, sentient beings encounter his light, their three defilements are removed; they feel tenderness, joy and pleasure; and good thoughts arise. If sentient beings in the three realms of suffering see his light, they will all be relieved and freed from affliction. At the end of their lives, they all reach emancipation.
"The light of Amitabha shines brilliantly, illuminating all the Buddha-lands of the ten quarters. There is no place where it is not perceived. I am not the only one who now praises his light. All the Buddhas, shravakas, pratyekabuddhas and bodhisattvas praise and glorify it in the same way. If sentient beings, having heard of the majestic virtue of his light, glorify it continually, day and night, with sincerity of heart, they will be able to attain birth in his land, as they wish. Then the multitudes of bodhisattvas and shravakas will praise their excellent virtue. Later, when they attain Buddhahood, all the Buddhas and bodhisattvas in the ten quarters will praise their light, just as I now praise the light of Amitabha."
The Buddha continued, "The majestic glory of the light of Amitabha could not be exhaustively described even if I praised it continuously, day and night, for the period of one kalpa."

Dharmakara's attainment of Buddhahood
Dharmakara's attainment of Buddhahood
[10] Ananda asked the Buddha, "Has the Bodhisattva Dharmakara already attained Buddhahood and then passed into Nirvana? Or has he not yet attained Buddhahood? Or is he dwelling somewhere at present?"
The Buddha replied to Ananda, "The Bodhisattva Dharmakara has already attained Buddhahood and is now dwelling in a western Buddha-land, called 'Peace and Bliss,' a hundred thousand kotis of lands away from here."
Ananda further asked the Buddha, "How much time has passed since he attained Buddhahood?"
The Buddha replied, "Since he attained Buddhahood, about ten kalpas have passed."
He continued, "In that Buddha-land, the earth is composed of seven jewels -- namely, gold, silver, beryl, coral, amber, agate and ruby -- which have spontaneously appeared. The land itself is so vast, spreading boundlessly to the farthest extent, that it is impossible to know its limit. All the rays of light from those jewels intermingle and create manifold reflections, producing a dazzling illumination. Those pure, superb and exquisite adornments are unsurpassed in all the worlds of the ten quarters. They are the finest of all gems, and are like those of the Sixth Heaven. In that land, there are no mountains, such as Mount Sumeru and the Encircling Adamantine Mountains. Likewise, there are neither oceans nor seas, valleys nor gorges. But one can see those manifestations by the Buddha's power if one so wishes. In that land there is no hell; neither are there realms of hungry spirits and animals nor other adverse conditions. Neither do the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter exist. It is always moderate and pleasant, never cold or hot."
Then, Ananda asked the Buddha, "If, World-Honored One, there is no Mount Sumeru in that land, what sustains the Heaven of the Four Kings and the Heaven of the Thirty-three Gods?"
The Buddha said to Ananda, "What sustains Yama, which is the Third Heaven of the world of desire, and other heavens up to the Highest Heaven of the world of form?"
Ananda answered, "The consequences of karma are inconceivable."
The Buddha said to Ananda, "Inconceivable indeed are the consequences of karma, and so are the worlds of the Buddhas. By the power of meritorious deeds, sentient beings in that land dwell on the ground of karmic reward. That is why those heavens exist without Mount Sumeru."
Ananda continued, "I do not doubt this myself but have asked you about it simply because I wished to remove such doubts for the benefit of sentient beings in the future."

Dharmakara's practices of the Bodhisattva Path
Dharmakara's practices of the Bodhisattva Path [9] The Buddha said to Ananda, "As soon as the Bhiksu Dharmakara spoke those verses, the entire earth shook in six ways, and a rain of wonderful flowers fell from heaven, scattering everywhere. Spontaneous music was heard, and a voice in the sky said, 'Surely you will attain the highest, perfect Enlightenment.
"Then the Bhiksu Dharmakara kept all those great vows which were sincere, unfailing and unsurpassed in the whole world, and intensely aspired to attain Nirvana.
"Then, Ananda, after proclaiming and establishing those universal vows in the presence of the Buddha Lokeshvararaja before the multitude of beings, including the eight kinds of superhuman beings, such as devas and dragon-spirits, and also Mara and Brahma, the Bhiksu Dharmakara was solely intent on producing a glorious and exquisite land. The Buddha-land which he sought to establish was vast in extent, unsurpassed and supremely wonderful, always present and subject neither to decay nor change. During inconceivable and innumerable kalpas, he cultivated the immeasurable meritorious practices of the Bodhisattva Path.
"He did not harbor any thought of greed, hatred or cruelty; nor did he allow any ideas of greed, hatred or cruelty to arise. He was unattached to any form, sound, smell, taste, touch or idea. Possessed of the power to persevere, he did not avoid undergoing various afflictions. Having little desire for his own sake, he knew contentment. Without any impure thought, enmity or stupidity, he dwelt continually in tranquil samadhi. His wisdom was unobstructed, and his mind free of falsehood and deceitfulness. With an expression of tenderness in his face and with kindness in his speech, he spoke to others in consonance with their inner thoughts. Courageous and diligent, strong-willed and untiring, he devoted himself solely to the pursuit of the pure Dharma, thereby benefiting a multitude of beings. He revered the Three Treasures, respected his teachers and elders, and thus adorned his practices with a great store of merits. By so doing, he enabled sentient beings to partake of it.
"He dwelt in the realization that all dharmas are empty, devoid of distinctive features, and not to be sought after, and that they neither act nor arise; he thus realized that all dharmas are like magical creations. He avoided all wrong speech that would bring harm upon himself or others or both; he engaged in right speech that would bring benefit to himself or others or both. He abandoned his kingdom and renounced the throne, leaving behind wealth and sensuous pleasures. Practicing the Six Paramitas himself, he taught others to do the same. During innumerable kalpas, he accumulated merits and amassed virtues.
"Wherever he was born, an immeasurable stock of treasure spontaneously appeared as he wished. He taught countless sentient beings and guided them on the path of the highest, true Enlightenment. He was reborn as a rich man, a lay devotee, a member of the highest caste or of a noble family, a ksatriya king, a wheel-turning monarch, a king of one of the six heavens in the world of desire, or even higher, as a Brahma-king. He revered and worshipped all Buddhas by making the four kinds of offering to them. The merit he thus acquired was indescribably great. Fragrance issued from his mouth as from a blue lotus-flower, and every pore of his body emitted the scent of sandalwood, which permeated innumerable worlds. His appearance was majestic, and his physical characteristics and marks were truly wonderful. From his hands, inexhaustible treasures, clothes, food and drink, rare and exquisite flowers and incense, silken canopies, banners, and other ornaments were produced. In such manifestations he was unrivaled among all heavenly and human beings. He thus attained the command of all dharmas."
