Clear all obstacles in life

Life is full of obstacles. In the family, in the working places, we bound to face a lot of obstacles.
Many people will feel down or worries when obstacles come. If we can not clear these obstacles, we will feel depressed and find that life is miserable.
How to clear all these obstacles, yes, we can do it.
Firstly, we must have the right mindset in the first place. What are the right mindset? My thinking is as follow for your reference.
1. Do not hurt anybody. Why? because of not hurting any human things, we can feel peaceful in our heart. If we can extend the love to non-human being like animals willingly, we will be blessed beyond our imagination.
2. Tolerance-when we hear somebody talking bad about us, take it easy.
3.............many more.
What is your view?

As commented in Blogcatalog, do we necessary need to clear them? Can just we just avoid them?

If there is a huge rock in front of me, what I usually do is run the side way... or should I remove the rock?

ChampDog,
Yes, you have to assess the situation. For example, if we go to place A, there is some barrier. We can detour and reach the destination A finally.
We need to have wisdom in order to enjoy the highest happiness in life.
Thanks for your contibution for that.

Do no deliberate harm is my first priority. Buddhists believe that our attachment (craving desire within) to witness or to be a part of specific outcomes, as well, as our aversion to other outcomes is the cause of unhappiness. In other words, happiness is a choice we make between our ears based on our attachments and aversions to specific outcomes.

When there is a sequence to our thoughts, they have as their object either something pleasant or something unpleasant. If the object of our thought sequence is pleasant we begin reacting to the thoughts with liking that grows into craving, a clinging, an attachment. If it is unpleasant, we begin reacting with dislike, which develops into a rejection, a hatred, an aversion.

The opposite of allowing things to be as they are is trying to change things to align with our attachments, and there are very few things we have full control over. Allowing things to be as they are is about choosing to become detached, yet, keenly mindful and living a conscious life in the now moment. That's what I endeavor to do but I'm not always succesful.

Don Miguel Ruiz’s The Four Agreements was published in 1997 and for many it is a life-changing book, whose ideas come from the ancient Toltec wisdom of the native people of Southern Mexico.

Here is how Don Miguel Ruiz summarises ‘The Four Agreements’:

1. Agreement 1 - Be impeccable with your word – Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.
2. Agreement 2 - Don’t take anything personally – Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.
3. Agreement 3 – Don’t make assumptions – Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.
4. Agreement 4 – Always do your best – Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse and regret.

Thanks for an opportunity to share on this important subject.

Wonderful post, CoolingStar9. I think you need to assess everything with patience and serenity. Try and think calmly and positively. Without negative emotions so that your rationale is bright and effective. Then decide how to go about the situation. :)

As long as we're alive, there're bound to me lots of obstacles in our life.

Life is a learning process, it's how you handle the situation and learn from our experience.

In short the day we die is the closing chapter of all obstacles in life.

Each individual's condition is different and it's always changing with time. Obstacles, pains, sufferings have its causes and arising from our negative emotions like anger, jealousy, hatred, attachment, greed etc. Nobody wants suffering, even ants seek happiness. The opposite of negative emotions is love, compassion, kindness, patience, tolerance, etc. There is this law of cause and effect. We generate good actions to purify negative/bad consequences/fruits.
There are methods/practices like meditations to bring us the clarity/awareness to know our real conditions/circumstances, and therefore we will have less problems/obstacles.
My teacher taught me this 5 principles which I try to integrate to my daily life:
1) Awareness
2) Observe yourself. (inside and outside)
3)know your conditions,
4) work with your circumstances,
5) try your best.
