How to learn good values effectively?

Parents in ancient time were very particular on moral education unlike today. They believed children must have the basis of good character before learning other subjects. At that time, the purpose of schooling was to instill students with good values. The priority was not earning money but to serve people well when they grown up. They then passed that traditional good values to next generation.
Nowadays, the situation have been changed drastically. Luckily we can see some people still continue to cultivate children with this good traditional values.
Personally I find that most of the traditional values still very useful today. In flat most Of them are core values for all.
This is my litter thought for today.
Let's study the student chapter 7 part two
How to learn the student guide effectively.
There are methods to study correctly.
They involve concentration in three areas:
Our mind, our eyes, and our mouth.
To believe in what we read [ the student guide ] is equally important.
When we begin to read a book, do not think about another.
If we have not completed the book, do not start another.
Give yourself lots of time to study, and study hard.
Give time and effort, we will thoroughly understand.
If we have a question, make a note of it. Ask the person who has the knowledge for the right answer.
That's all for today. Have the nice day.

that's where good parenting comes in, teach the children good moral value while they are still young, like planting a good seed to harvest a good fruit, thanks for your comment on my site

Very good points, especially about how the new generation have changed values. I was on the bus yesterday and a young teenaged girl did not have the respect to give an elderly woman her seat and the elderly woman was walking with a cane. I watched for a moment and then gave the lady my seat. Where have all the respect for the elders gone? Is anyone teaching them?

Traditional values are very important.

Parents are often too busy to teach their children.

Lovely post!

bluedreamer27,
It is good to give more focus on moral education. I think ministry of education in every country can further strengthen it. It is good for each individual, family and the society.
Have a great day and happy blogging

josie,
You have the good point that's where good parenting comes in, teach the children good moral value while they are still young, like planting a good seed to harvest a good fruit.
It is good to put in efforts now so that the next generation know how to educate or cultivate their children.
Have the nice day.

Daisy Soap Girl,

Yes, you highlight two problems 1.Where have all the respect for the elders gone?
2.Is anyone teaching them?
This is the dad thing to seeing such a uncaring behaviour towards elderly.
I think school teachers and parents need to work harder....
Have the nice day.

Pink Links,
You say :" Traditional values are very important. Parents are often too busy to teach their children."
Parent must teach them by showing good examples.
Happy blogging and have the nice day.

Traditional values is definitely still very useful today. Just that today's generation, they are mostly ignored... But when it happens they will realized it is right.

Nice post. Like others, I agree that parents should teach good values to their children. Build the good character of your child from your home!

Hi!

thanks for your nice comment on my blog :)
Thank you for sharing this great post on traditional values.
Unfortunately, here in my country, parents don't guide their children as much as they used to. I think Asian countries are more disciplined.

have a nice day too!

Unfortunately, today's parents are just too busy to help build moral values with their kids. And some parents don't even have good moral values to begin with!

So kids are left on their own to emulate what they see on TV or Internet, and also their friends.
