Ancient China

I have just read an article about education in ancient China. I would like to share it with all of you.
As you know, China has 5000 years of history and produced many saints in the past. Now, many people are interested in learning its culture and many institution worldwide have offered courses in Chinese studies, Confucius teaching, etc.
In ancient China, children went to primary school at the age of 7. Teachers are totally responsible for students, parents had the full trust on teachers.
Teachers taught children how to respect parents, how to get along with sibling. They memorized the few books over and over again before the age of 13. They needed not required to understand the meaning of the contents at all before the age of 13.
From age 7 to age 12, teachers concentrated their character development, so that they had the solid foundation to handle all the challenges in the future.
At the age of 13, teachers always brought them out for tour. Teachers started to teach them the few books. Students needed not bring books because they had already memorized it before the age of 13.
I think this type of teaching was ready fun, what do you think?
That's all for today. Please enjoy reading and smile for one minutes. No, how about smile for 2 minutes and more.
