Give ex-offenders second chance

Ex-offenders should be given the chance to start afresh, employers should hire them.
Ex-offenders must work hard and do not give up if facing difficulties in new work.
Human is not perfect including you and me, we should not isolate ex-offenders. We can encourage them so as to help them change for the better.
They can have a bright future also. They should looking forward and give up the dark past.
What is your view about this?

For me they should be given 2nd chance. Some people do not believe in 2nd chance. One bad thing happen and that's it. No more trust and no more 2nd chance -- most company does.

I believe human does change but not a 3rd chance =)

Regards.

Absolutely! Nobody's perfect... whatever their shortcomings or offenses were, i am sure they have already paid for them... they have repented already. total healing comes when there is acceptance. we should not reject them, rather, we shold help them live a new life...

thanks coolingstar... i miss your posts! welcome back!

Faisal Admar,
I agree with you that they should be given 2nd chance.
Companies should change the mindset, we should not neglect them, we must intergate them to the society. I believe they can be changed if we love them.
All must be done to help them up with love.
Have a nice weekend.

jen,
Yes, Many factors led to the offences committed in the past might be due to troubled family, No proper coaching from parents, etc.
It is true that we should not reject them, rather, we shold help them live a new life...

If they have messed up and really wish to start anew, then a second chance is fair.
If they have gone to jail, then certainly have paid for their mistakes and definitely deserve another chance :)

Yes, you are right, human is not perfect.
Ex-offenders are the one who had committed crime or something against the law.

I think that all humans deserve a second chance but it really depends on their crimes. I believe some people are just evil and the chances are they will reoffend because they are ill and cannot be rehabilitiated. This includes murderers, sex offenders etc. I have been a victim of crime and it is hard to forgive your perpetrator when they are not sorry for what they have done. This is a very emotional issue and I think it just depends on what the offence is. Good post. Thanks for visiting my blog and I am sure you will see your rainbow. Keep wishing and hoping and dreaming.

all are humans. hope society can incorporate them back into the mainstream again. but the main bodies can set good examples by hiring them too, unless they already are. i am not sure about that.

I Believe every efforts must be put in to help them, find better ways to make them change to be good one.
Even they had committed very serios offences in the past, they can be changed also.
Have a nice week.

Treat them like our friend, family member, If we never give them chances, then we have to pay high price for it also.
Lets do our best to help them.
Have a nice week.

Hi Coolingstar9,
I would definitely give an ex-offender second chance. Yes, as a human being me make mistakes, however the same mistake twice is not good. So I would say, 2 chances are good enough. :-)

Hi Collingstar,

I don't know so many of the criminals go to jail and come out worse then before they went in. There is very little rehabilitation going on in our system for criminals. If they were totaly rehabilitated then yes they deserve a 2nd chance otherwise, well

I have something for you at my site.

Love and Blessings,
AngelBaby
